Paws Pride Club (1 meeting per month) Library  Ms. Travalini-Rubini & Ms. Ahern
  • Students will need to submit a separate application to Ms. Travalini-Rubini to join this club. 
  • Paws Pride is the new name for our MTSS Tier 1 student team that will support students across the entire school. It emphasizes modeling, teaching, and acknowledging positive social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) skills. Working in teams, data analysis, consistent policies, professional development, and evaluation are essential components of Tier 1 that students in this club will use to help make Skyline a better place for all students.

Leadership, Etiquette, and Professionalism (3rd Monday of the Month) 136 Ms. Gladney This Leadership, Etiquette, and Professionalism club will be for girls only. We will meet to discuss how to carry ourselves in public through review of manners, posture, how to walk in different shoes, interview skills, and dining habits we should maintain.
Drama Club Band Room Ms. Louden Step into the spotlight with our after school drama club! Whether you're a seasoned actor or new to theater, our club will offer a creative space to explore the art of acting. Everyone is welcome!
Lego Club 106 Ms. Davis Lego Club is a fun way to challenge your creativity. Join the club to put your building skills to the test by producing assigned themes and having friendly competitions among your friends in the club.
Yearbook Club (1st & 3rd Monday of the Month) Library Ms. Mercaldo 

Join the team to create Skyline’s 2024-2025 Yearbook! Students will work on photography, graphic design, journalism, and writing. Being in the Yearbook Club builds student’s leadership and organizational skills, which looks great to high schools!

Anime Club (3rd Tuesday of the Month) 136 Ms. Gladney Anime club will be a space for students to discuss their favorite anime, learn how to draw anime, and watch anime as well.  Students will be asked to obtain a video waiver signed by an adult at home if they are under the age of 14 years old as many anime are rated TV-14.
Bridge Design Club 127 Ms. Ahern, Ms. Castaldi, & Mrs. McClenaghan  Members of this club will form teams of 2-4 students to compete in the Spring 2025 DelDOT Bridge Design Competition. Club meetings will focus on discussing the requirements of the competition, exploring the different engineering components that are involved, building model bridges to test the effectiveness of the design, and compiling all components of the project report and presentation. 
Cheer Competition (Will meet in the Spring season only) 124 Mrs. McCollum-Hawker Details will be provided for the Spring season. 
GSA Club (2 meetings per month) 125 Ms. Wilson GSA Club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who want to promote understanding and celebrate diversity. Skyline’s GSA Club members work towards making school a more accepting environment for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, through education, support, social action, and advocacy.
Skyline Trailblazers 132 Ms. Henry & Ms. Carey  8th grade students only. Skyline Trailblazers is an after-school club for 8th graders dedicated to helping students explore their interests and prepare for high school. Through interactive activities, guest speakers, and school visits, students learn about different academic and extracurricular opportunities available at local high schools. The club focuses on personal growth, goal-setting, and decision-making, providing a supportive environment for students as they navigate their future educational paths.

Choir Club Choir Room Ms. Louden Step onto the stage and join the choir! Choir will meet every Wednesday after school. Choir is the place to learn how to sing various genres of music, meet new friends, perform, and share your love for music with others! Everyone is welcome! No experience required.

BPA Club 111 Mr. Kejetue

The goal of BPA is to encourage students to pursue a career in business. Students will learn how to:

  • Write a business plan 
  • Design and create a product (T-shirt)
  • Market the products to their target market.
  • Create a website to demonstrate their business. 
  • Create advertisements using Canva.
  • Students will learn design and photography techniques.
  • How to upload images to a website.
  • Attend leadership conferences with other students in Middle schools.
Newcomer Club 106 Ms. Davis This club is open to ML students who are relatively new to our country and would like to learn beginning English without stress or pressure in a fun interactive way.
Robotics Club 127 Mr. Capobianco & Mr. Jones In Robotics Club, students will build, program, and operate their own robots!

Latinos Unidos Club (every other week) 125 Ms. Wilson & Ms. Arias-Tapia The Latinos Unidos Club welcomes people of all cultures to celebrate Latino culture and diversity. Students in the LU Club will discuss, plan, and create school events that celebrate the Latino community. We strive to unify the various Latino groups within the Skyline community, connect with resources for students and their families, and to educate others about elements of Latino Culture.
